Android Oreo is causing Reboots on Some Devices

As new devices begin to receive Android Oreo, began to appear on the web some reports of users who are already facing problems of inadvertently reset of the mobile device.

First-hand information about the problem was disseminated by the AndroidPolice team, who, after detecting several random restarts on one of their mobile devices, surveyed whether others also reported the same flaw in the system.
According to the publication, a small number of people responded to the site that had the same problem on Android Oreo, being mostly owners of the Pixel XL model, while several other users claimed that the new version of the system was working normally.
Apparently, there is no specific activity that causes the smartphone to restart, which may occur in more common activities such as sending messages or opening applications. There is also information that downgrading the system to Nougat would be one way to resolve the problem.
It's still unclear if Google plans to release any updates to fix this specific initialization error.
