Motorola reveals Smartphones that will receive Android Oreo

Motorola is the latest handset to unveil its list of handsets supporting Android Oreo, the latest version of Google's operating system. And the good news, as in most others, is that most of the brand's recent smartphones, released this year, are eligible for the update.

As usual, Motorola intends to provide fast support for compatible devices. Oreo has just arrived at Google's own handsets, opening doors for the other companies, with the Lenovo subsidiary promising that all eligible users should receive the update by the end of this year. There is no specific release date, but, according to the company, the idea is to start releasing the update in the fall, ie between September and November.

Check out the list of Motorola phones that will receive Android Oreo:

  • Moto Z
  • Moto Z Force
  • Moto Z2 Force
  • Moto Z Play
  • Moto Z2 Play
  • Moto X4
  • Moto G5
  • Moto G5 Plus
  • Moto G5S
  • Moto G5S Plus
One notorious absence, as you can see, is that of the Moto G4. The 2016 model does not appear in the list, as does its Plus version, marking the already-expected end of medium-device support. His successor, however, continues his legacy.
